My realistic painting of Sharpedo, the Water/Dark Brutal Pokemon. I had also brought a plastic toy of a Great White from Schleich for this painting to see if actually holding and touching the form you are trying to paint can give me more understanding on the anatomy. It did, for I wouldn't have been able to feel the cheek muscles and the central line (lateral line?) running down the body.
Sharpedo was meant to look like a shark that had been chopped in half, or like a hybrid of a shark and a Sunfish so I tried the give the back end the flabby useless tail of a Sunfish.
